Frequently Asked Questions
Lipblush services
How long does it take?
The procedure can take around 1.5-2 hrs.
Is it painful?
Some clients have reported feeling nothing, whilst others report feeling some discomfort. I use two different numbing creams on your lips. One before the procedure starts and a stronger one after completing the first part of the procedure. Lips may appear swollen once the procedure is complete. Once the numbing cream wears off, they may feel tender. An aftercare kit is provided for you to take home.
Lip blush takes approximately 3-4 days to heal. During that time you may experience some dryness, flaking and peeling as the lips naturally exfoliate. The colour will change throughout the healing process, settling into its true shade.
Day 1: Swelling, tenderness, high colour intensity
Day 2: Swelling subsides, dryness starts, colour is much darker
Day 3-4: Scabbing, peeling, very dry
Day 5-6: The colour looks lighter, but may still be dry
Day 7-10: The colour looks very light
Day 28: The colour has settled into its true shade
Will I need a follow-up appointment?
After your initial procedure, you will be booked for a follow-up appointment; approximately 6 weeks after. This allows time for your lips to heal and the pigment to take. Your follow-up appointment is treated as a top-up session. I will assess how the colour has taken to your lips and perfect the overall look. A colour boost appointment will be required approximately 12-18 months after your follow-up appointment.
How long does it last?
Lip blush usually lasts around 12-18 months, depending upon the individual. This can depend on aftercare and lifestyle. Spending lots of time in the sun or smoking can cause lip blush to fade faster. The skincare regime you use can impact how long lip blush lasts, using lots of exfoliating products could fade the pigment more quickly. Having dry or overly oily lips can also affect the speed at which lip blush fades.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Lip blush is suitable for most, but all clients must be over the age of 18. It can be particularly good for older clients as the lip’s natural pigmentation fades with age.

What is BIAB and why is it so popular?
BIAB (Builder in a Bottle) is a strengthening gel used to support natural nail growth. It’s great if you’re trying to grow your nails or want longer-lasting wear without extensions.
Do I need to book a BIAB infill or a full BIAB manicure?
If you already have BIAB on your nails and it’s time for a refresh, go for an infill. If it’s your first time getting BIAB, book the full BIAB manicure.
How long does a gel polish mani last?
Typically around 2–3 weeks, depending on your lifestyle and how quickly your nails grow.
Will BIAB damage my nails?
Not at all. When applied and removed properly, BIAB can actually help your natural nails grow stronger over time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Lash & brow services
Do I need a patch test before my lash or brow treatment?
Yes, a patch test is required at least 24 hours before any lash lift, tint, or brow treatment. It only takes a few minutes and helps ensure your skin won’t react to the products we use. Even if you’ve had similar treatments elsewhere, we still need to test with our specific formulas.
What’s the difference between a lash lift and lash tint?
A lash lift curls your natural lashes from the root, giving a more lifted and open-eyed look. A tint darkens your lashes, making them more defined, especially great if yours are fair.
How long does a lash lift last?
Around 6–8 weeks depending on your lash cycle and aftercare.
Is a lash lift safe for sensitive eyes?
Yes, we use gentle, high-quality products but let us know if you have sensitivities or allergies so we can patch test beforehand.
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift?
You can, but most people find they don’t need to! If you do, wait at least 24 hours post-treatment.
What is brow lamination?
Brow lamination is like a perm for your brows—it smooths and sets the hairs in place, making them look fuller and more defined.
Will brow tint make my brows look too dark?
Not at all. Tint shades are customized to suit your hair colour and skin tone. We’ll make sure they’re natural-looking and flattering.
How long does brow lamination last?
Results typically last 4–6 weeks. Pair it with a tint and shape for the full effect.
